How to bake your clay creations

Baking your Fimo Clay
I hope you had fun, modelling your Fimo clay. This is how you bake it.
Please note, children should be fully supervised by an adult.
For necklaces, remove any ribbon, prior to baking, but the clay can be baked on the silver card. Place items on a foil lined baking tray. Make sure they are not touching each other. If they require any slight re-shaping after their journey home, just gently reposition them. For items which should remain flat, weigh the sides of the card down with a table knife to prevent the card from curling in the oven.
Pre heat the oven to 110 degrees C / 230 degrees F (Note this is a very low oven temperature)
When the correct temperature has been reached, place the tray on a shelf in the centre of the oven (not near the top) and bake for 30 minutes, checking their progress every 10 minutes, just in case your oven is running a little too hot. There should be no discolouration or change in the appearance of the clay.
When baked, take out of the oven and leave to cool completely before removing from the tray and carefully prising off the silver card.
These items are meant as an ornament, not as a toy.
